We decided to take it really easy today. We
researched on our trip a Little. We went out and had breakfast at a Denny’s
right next to the hotel. I am convienced that every once in a while is
worthwhile getting out of your daily environment to see how people live in
other places within the same country. It is quite interesting. After breakfast
we kept going. We drove a few hours to Lake Tahoe. This is the second time that
I go there and it doesn’t cese to impress me. That place has a special charm
and I don’t have the words to describe it. It is pure pleasure to sit down and
look at it. We got hungry and ate at a deli in a city called Incline Village in
Nevada. Of course throught Nevada you find casinos even in the restrooms
(alright, that is a bit of an exageration but not too far from reality.) With a
full belly we went back to the road. It was a very slow strech because I wanted
to stop every five minutes to look at the landscape. But the truth is that you
don’t get to see this type of landscape any time you want. Opportunities are
limited and you have to take them. Then it got dark and we just enjoyed the
wonderful company. We made it to Elko, Nevada and we spent the night there.
